Please read this disclaimer carefully before using Snap Loans Cash. It explains what our service is, what it is not, and the Nebraska rules that apply to the loans we help you find.

We are a connection service, not a lender

Snap Loans Cash does not lend money, make credit decisions, or charge you any fee. We are a loan-connection service that may match your request with third-party lenders licensed to operate in Nebraska. Any loan you receive comes from an independent lender, on that lender’s terms, which you should read in full before you accept.

Nebraska payday loan rules

Payday loans (called “delayed deposit services”) are legal in Nebraska under the Delayed Deposit Services Licensing Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 45-901 to 45-930). Since voters approved Initiative 428 in 2020:

  • Loans are capped at a 36% APR — one of the strictest rate limits of any state where we operate.
  • The maximum aggregate loan amount is $500.
  • The maximum term is 34 days.
  • Rollovers and renewals are prohibited — you must pay off an existing loan before entering a new one, and only one delayed-deposit transaction may be outstanding with a lender at a time.
  • You may cancel your loan at no cost by 5:00 p.m. the following business day.

Cost example

A $500 loan capped at the maximum 36% APR over the 34-day maximum term carries roughly $17 in interest. Payday loans are short-term, higher-cost credit and are not intended for long-term financial needs. Please consider lower-cost alternatives first.

Regulator and complaints

Nebraska payday/delayed-deposit lenders are licensed and regulated by the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance (NDBF). Phone: 402-471-2171. Rules on this page were verified on July 5, 2026 and may change; always confirm current terms with your lender and the regulator.
